Ferrys Solicitors LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented solicitor to join our growing Immigration Law Department based in our Ormond Quay office. An excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in Irish immigration law looking to develop their career within a dynamic and client-focused practice.
- Dealing with a substantial International Protection practice
- Managing a varied caseload of immigration law matters
- Advising clients on work permits and employment-based applications
- Preparing and submitting Stamp 4 applications
- Assisting with Irish citizenship and naturalisation applications
- Assisting with family reunification and dependent visa cases
- Liaising with relevant authorities and ensuring compliance with current immigration regulations
- Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience
- Ability to lead a team
- Detailed experience in Immigration law

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience across all areas of Irish immigration law, and will be capable of managing a varied caseload while providing a high standard of client service.
- Managing immigration files from initial instruction to conclusion
- Preparing and submitting applications for visas, residence permissions, citizenship, family reunification, employment permits, and international protection matters
- Liaising with clients, government departments, and relevant agencies
- Drafting correspondence, submissions, and legal documentation
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assisting solicitors with immigration-related litigation and appeals where required
- Minimum two years' experience in all aspects of Irish immigration law
- Strong knowledge of current immigration legislation, policies, and procedures

Ferrys Solicitors LLP are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Litigation Legal Secretary / Receptionist to join our busy Ballymun office. A hybrid role combining front-of-house reception duties with legal secretarial support to our litigation department — you'll be the first point of contact for clients while providing essential support to our litigation team.
- Manage the front desk as first point of contact for clients, visitors and telephone enquiries
- Schedule and manage appointments and meeting room bookings
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails and post
- Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, briefs and court correspondence
- Manage litigation files and maintain accurate case management records
- Liaise with the Courts Service, counsel and opposing solicitors as required
- Assist solicitors with diary management, deadlines and court date scheduling
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents to a high standard of accuracy
- Open, maintain and close client files in compliance with firm procedures

- Collection and delivery of internal mail and legal documents between offices
- Lodgement and collection of documents at court offices and other agencies
- Ensuring urgent documentation is delivered accurately and on time
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Assisting with general office support duties where required
- Full clean driving licence
- Own reliable transport

- Managing client and office accounts
- Posting daily transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Liaising with solicitors and support staff regarding financial queries
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements
- Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management
