Ferrys Solicitors LLP is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our Dublin City Centre office. An excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently within a busy, well-established legal practice.

About the role

You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping functions within a fast-paced legal environment — managing client and office accounts, posting daily transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

You'll process invoices, payments and bank reconciliations, liaise with solicitors and support staff on financial queries, and assist with month-end and year-end reporting. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing client and office accounts
  • Posting daily transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with solicitors and support staff regarding financial queries

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
